I bought this battery to replace the 6 year old battery on my 2004 BMW X5 3.0i. The battery for the X5 is installed inside the passenger compartment under the spare tire. My primary concern was getting a battery that was an EXACT fit and this battery is. The battery even includes a vent hole that fits the vent tube installed in the car. Don't expect the people at the parts store to install it because it takes at least 45 minutes. (Remove rear deck cover, remove jack, remove spare, remove air compressor bracket to get to the battery. Once exposed installation was a snap). It took me about 1 hour to install. Also, I used a "battery maintainer" supply 12 volt power to the OBD2 connector under the dash while I changed the battery. It cost about $13 and I had to connect it to an external battery pack, but it saved all of radio settings and control computer settings. It was well worth the time and $ to use it. I don't know how long this battery will last, [$] It has a 3 year warranty and 84 month prorated so I am hopeful. I figure I saved about $100 over buying the battery from the dealer.

I'm sure that the battery is good quality, but I never owned Autocraft battery till now. The battery was vert costly. I have bought other batteries in the past with same crank power with no issues and cost less. May not buy another Autocraft battery with that because of the price.

My comments on the performance of this battery will have to wait. Right now I want to express my complete satisfaction in regard to the online buying process and the In store experience where I went to pick it up and have it installed.
The Advance Auto Parts Store had my order ready in the few minutes it took me to drive there from home. When I told them I had placed a battery order on line the gentleman called me by name and had it installed immediately.
He even knew to use a memory saver that keeps all of your computer settings intact along with your radio station presets!
The weather was cold and starting to rain so my appreciation for this service cannot be overstated.
Someone once said that "It is the service that customers do not expect that they appreciate the most". Well done and Thank You. I will be back for all of my auto parts needs.

the original battery didn't have a handle making it difficult to handle as its a very heavy battery, this one has a handle making it much easier to pick up and install. Installation was easy and the vehicle is starting up without any issues. Time will only tell as this battery has a 3 year full replacement warranty, I expect I will not have any issues for quite a few years.

Liked everything about the battery; price was good after using online coupon, store had it in stock, fit well. The only issue was that the original BMW terminal caps don't fit on the new battery. Small price to pay IMHO.

I just looked at this battery at my local store. It does look like it has a vent hole on both the negative and positive side that would accommodate my 2002 BMW 325CI.
