I really don't get the other posters on their review of how the item looked.. What do you expect from a window motor that is in a door exposed to moisture. When I purchased the part I opened the box and it was apparent that the motor came from another car and was rebuilt but in no way did it seem as bad as the last commenters indicated. Instalation was easy and the motor works great. I also feel that is this was an inferior part, Advance would not back it up with a Lifetime warranty. Bottom line is that I am very happy with the product.

Only lasted 2 or 3 months, I still have the receipt!!! Came dirty, looked like it came out of a junk yard but I figured I'd try it since the only alternative was Nissan. Now I have to change the window motor again. It's been an ongoing problem with these cars, this is my 3rd one in the driver side, on number 2 on the passenger. The others lasted about a year each.

Comments about Cardone Window Lift Motor:

Well here i am again! I initially wrote that the part was great.. Then I retracted that review because the window motor failed at 2 month although it had a lifetime warranty. The sales guy at my local Advanced (Raul) was great and immediately located another motor for me. Well here I am 2 months later and guess what? Motor failed again! At this point I am writing a letter to Advanced Corporate office and demanding a refund. I am done dealing with such sub standard parts from Advanced. The quality of the parts now does not compare to when they used to be [@]. I guess I will now become and [@] client!

Boy!! Was I wrong... I originally posted a comment saying that I was satisfied about the part. Install was easy. Blah Blah Blah. I purchased the part on 6/10/2011. Today is 8/8/2011 and the motor is dead! It actually died on 8/6/2011. It has a Lifetime Warranty but I guess the lifetime of these motors is about 2 month from other posters.[...]But themn what do I do with my Lifetime Warranty?? Not Happy at all..

Bought one as a replacement for the OEM one... less than a year later it went bad... got another under warranty... same thing, less than a year it went bad as well. LUCKILY, it was still under warranty, but REALLY??? What kind of cheap rebuilt part is this... I expected more from Cardone.

My window stuck going down so I bought this replacement motor, took apart the door and installed it. It operated the window very slowly up and down until finally it did not move. I returned it and ended up taking apart my original motor, cleaning it with wd40 and cotton swabs (it apppeared to have alot of build up on the part of it). Put it back into the door and its worked great since.

For Future reference both the left and right motors come re-manufactured so if you order these expect ugly looking motors not new ones.
