Wow, I mean really at the price of this upgrade you cant go wrong. The stock replacement for my 89 Pulsar was more expensive than this! I did not need a new muffler the stock one that was on the car was just fine. I wanted a little more pep in the gas pedal but cant stand the sound of the fart cans kids put on cars. This muffler sounds sweet! A nice deep mellow tone, a little more aggressive than stock without sounding like your exhaust is falling apart in chunks (fart can mufflers). Looks like stock, not obtrusive, doesnt stand out, and it gave me that little performance boost I was looking for in accelaration. Un-constricting your exhaust by letting it breathe with a turbo muffler such as this gives you better gas mileage and more performance.

i bought this muffler as an inexpensive replacement on my 97 explorer-it is not a direct fit you have to purchase an extension pipe to attach the tailpipe as this muffler is about 12 inches shorter than stock. installation is no big deal-took about 30 minutes,this muffler is just as quiet as stock-you would not know it was a thrush muffler unless i told you-happy with the purchase as the price was right.

I ordered the muffler based on adding my vehicle information on your website, then selected a muffler that was presented. When I gave it to my mechanic to install he said it was not the right muffler for this vehicle and will have to be returned.

Great inexpensive replacement at 1/3 the cost of an OEM muffler. Used a discount code and saved a little more too.
Maybe a bit louder than stock, not much though.
Easy to install. Needed a 12" length of 2" pipe because this muffler is shorter than the original one. Offset / center inlet and outlet allow it to fit the stock pipe setup without any fancy plumbing changes.

The muffler is easy to bolt on, but it is about 6" shorter than the OEM muffler and is 1/4" smaller diameter. This is easily fixed by using reducers that make up for the difference in diameter as well as length.

I took this muffeler to a Minekee Workshop and they installed it in an hour. They charged me dollars 100 for labor and 7 dollars for Tax and 7 dollars for shop supplies. If Minekee whould have done all job they whould have charged me dollar 150 including muffeler price so I saved 20 dollars but now I have no warrenty!

For the money this is a good product, the sound is just enough, not to loud has a great idle rumble,easy to install, and very lightweight.Did notice better acceleration when getting on the gas.
