I installed this muffler on my sisters 1998 Ford Escort ZX2 and love the quality and sound that this muffler produces. Overall the sound quality is amazing, it gives this car a nice low bass growl without any drone at all. You can hear it quite well from outside the car, but inside the cabin it is not as noticeable. The craftsmanship and sound of this muffler is really top shelf quality. It really sounds better than todays "tuner mufflers" that are offered for sport compact cars. Overall, it is the best bang for the buck.

I bought this to replace the same model. It's part of a custom-made exhaust system. The first one lasted 9 years before rusting out which is about what you'd expect out of a mild steel exhaust product (spend lots more $$ for stainless if you want it to last forever). The sound didn't noticeably change over that time period (I have read that some glasspacks 'blow out' over time).

This Thrush Glasspack works great on my 1986 Ford F250 (w/ 302 EFI) equipped with a 2.5" exhaust system. Although you may need to get specific exhaust reducers (2.5" OD-ID) if you are using a clamp on type installation. I am not going to lie, this thing did take awhile to install, due to the ride height on the truck, and the weight of the muffler itself. And there is a slight kick back when you are high reving and you suddenly reduce RPM's. Otherwise this is a great product for the price, and it works perfectly into a weekend mechanic's budget!

This product was fairly easy to bolt on to my 97 dodge ram. And when I did it roared to life. The rest of my truck's exhaust system is stock except for this. I also notice that my truck is pepier and more responsive. Before to get moving I would hit the gas but now all I have to do is tap on the gas and I am moving.

I was worried about the muffler having a straight through design after having a bad sound after starting my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2 with no muffler. I was worried that it was going to sound like junk. I am very pleased with the sound and performance. It gave it a good rumble when I get on the gas and is not overly loud.
