This Thrush Glasspack works great on my 1986 Ford F250 (w/ 302 EFI) equipped with a 2.5" exhaust system. Although you may need to get specific exhaust reducers (2.5" OD-ID) if you are using a clamp on type installation. I am not going to lie, this thing did take awhile to install, due to the ride height on the truck, and the weight of the muffler itself. And there is a slight kick back when you are high reving and you suddenly reduce RPM's. Otherwise this is a great product for the price, and it works perfectly into a weekend mechanic's budget!

This product was fairly easy to bolt on to my 97 dodge ram. And when I did it roared to life. The rest of my truck's exhaust system is stock except for this. I also notice that my truck is pepier and more responsive. Before to get moving I would hit the gas but now all I have to do is tap on the gas and I am moving.

I was worried about the muffler having a straight through design after having a bad sound after starting my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.2 with no muffler. I was worried that it was going to sound like junk. I am very pleased with the sound and performance. It gave it a good rumble when I get on the gas and is not overly loud.

this glasspack is much better than the magnaflow i had before it was [$] for a 2.5 inch i need a 3 thats [$] so i said screw it and used the 2.5 it sounds great on a 06 f250 with the 5.4 nice and loud like i asked fori hade someone install it for me but its real easy if you have the right size just cut and connect it back togeather

This muffler is very loud and deep tone and it get louder only if your car is equip with a intake system and not a stock box and if you have very good spark plug that mixes air and fuel faster you will not have a performance decrease problem at all.
