          • Q:

On a '92 Camaro RS can I remove the original sending unit that has one red wire connected to it and just use this this as a mechanical guage? What is this "warning light sender" that is says to remove? And in the instructions where it says to make a 3" loop would that be inside the vehicle where you put it through the firewall or on the other side make a loop next to the firewall in the engine bay? Or would it be better to wire this up electrically to the sending unit already installed in the engine block? And if I do that can I remove capillary tubing from the gauge so it's not just hanging somewhere?

          • Q:

I bought a three gauge set and I am installing on a custom application. I needed a radiator hose adapter and purchased one that has a 1/8 inlet but my capilar is larger than the inlet. Is there a way to adapt this?

We will need more information regarding the exact size of the capilar and also the year, make, model, and engine size of your application before we can make a suggestion. Please call us at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and we would be more than happy to further assist you.

will gauge fit 1995 international big truck

            • A:

Assuming the truck in question is NOT computer controlled, then, put the sender for the new gauge in the spot for the original gauge,(using apropriate fitting adapter,if needed),there should be a spot on the block-or-intake manifold. If computer controlled-make,or buy,an adapter that goes into the upper radiator hose-the gauge sender goes into that-you have your reading.

It should fit your vehicle. However, this product is universal and not a direct fit some modifications may be required for proper installation.
