      ATF is fine for snowplows, but this stuff is better for its flow characteristics and protection of the pump. the best thing to use is manufacturer brand, but this is a close second. i actually never use ATF in a ford p/s pump though because they kill ATF. p/s fliud is better for that; doesn't burn up or thin out as fast. i'd prefer p/s fluid over ATF for my plow, but only if they didn't make this oil anymore. it doesn't slow down in colder temps like ATF or p/s fluid

      If you snow plow uses any one of the following oils, you can use this oil with it: Meyer 15134, Western 49311, Fisher 28531, Sno-Way 96005029
