Not mentioned on the product packaging, but you MUST purchase a separate can tap to use with the small individual cans. Otherwise I am satisfied and the product worked perfectly well for me.

After using a Harbor Freight manifold that leaked everywhere you touched i was very happy to get a vacuum that held. Like in the other review you need to get adapters to add freon. I got the can tap and it worked great but still could not attach to my big can.

I like the sight window and they seemed to allow better flow into the system than others I have used. In other words, faster refill time. The knobs are a little flimsy but ok and they hold pressure for days after the last job. That helps keep the freon escaping into the atmosphere.

Impressive loooking gauge, manifold, valve, & hose set, with a decent carry/storage case. You wouldn't suspect it to be junk. Two MAJOR problems: (1) VERY difficult to engage the provided fittings on the low and high-pressure ports on your veh's A/C system. (2) After only 20-25 mins of use, the hoses began to deteriorate as they soaked in the high under-hood temps while I was taking readings. After the high-pressure side hose blew off by separating from its crimped fitting, I later examined the hoses only to see that the colored sheathing and braided hose material each were splitting at the ends that were subjected to the heat of the running engine I was working on. Huge loss of refrigerant, and to the atmosphere no less. Very frustrating. Clearly Intedynamics selected cheap / substandard quality hose material and crimp fittings and then didn't actually put it to the test. I doubt the claim that the hoses meet SAE std req'mnts, at least not for this use. Very disappointing. Returned the set to Advance with no hassle. Nobody offered to replace the vented refrigerant.

These gauges show the vacuum pull on low side. Other gauges didnt do this, I used other brand to vacuum ac system and gauge broke. I returned to zone and got this nice set. Sight glass on manifold, purge valve on yellow hose at manifold entrance to burb enviroment air out in first hook up. Worked perfect on my 03 dodge ram ac. I dabbed little pag oil on "O" rings when assembling hoses to manifold, and disassembled after use. Pressure did stay at connections even after cracking vavles, off the vechicle. So disassembly could perhaps extends life. kit also came with pretty detailed instructions on every funtion possible with manifold hook ups

If you want a great little unit that is easy on the wallet, then this is a good choice. Used to evacuate and hold vacuum for 24 hours, then charge system with no problems.

Manifold and gauges seem of decent quality, although as one reviewer mentioned, the valves don't have a good solid feel.
The High and low-pressure couplers fit on my FORD A/C charge ports fine, BUT NO-GO on my Chrysler products. They would push on, but I could not get the locking rings to seat. The high-side coupler was too tall and interfered with nearby plumbing in my 2004 Dodge Mini-Van.
All-in-All meets my expectation for Chinese made tools. Did I mention the almost useless 30-day warranty?

Gauge knobs a little weak, kind of a vague feeling when closing them. Otherwise for the price paid ([$] - discount) good value.We'll see if the hoses start cracking like the last one I had (weathered) after a few years.
