Q:will this be good stock eng
A:Yes, it will be the perfect gasket for your stock engine.
A:NO, Geo is wrong and no longer deserves the title "guru".
A:It's unecessary and costly on a stock engine. The gaskets are over 80 a peice plus you have to find a good machine shop to machine reciever grooves into the heads to use them; and it isn't needed unless you have a big power adder and/or high compression.
Q:What is the bore diameter of this gasket?
A:Bore Diameter of the gasket is 4.145inches.
Q:Would this head gasket be good for a head that has been ground? If not which one? 2004 Chev Aveo 1.6
A:No, this will not work. We do not have one listed online for your vehicle.
Q:is this a set of two or just a single gasket
A:This is a single gasket.
Q:Is this a multi layer steel head gasket
A:Fel-Pro performance head gaskets feature a PermaTorque/blue gasket body with a solid-steel core to minimize torque loss and gasket blowout. Fel-Pro performance head gaskets also have a wire-ring combustion seat with stainless steel "armor" for extra sealing force around combustion chambers. Made with a pre-flattened steel-wire ring, Fel-Pro performance head gaskets have the strength of steel-wire sealing and the minimum brinelling of aluminum heads
Q:why is this gasket priced higher than all the others. What makes it better than the others, and does it come with any thing else?
A:It has sealant around all the water jackets, as well as a wider fire ring around each cylinder. The overall quality of the material is better than most, it is intended for high performance use.
A:They do seal better with high boost turbo or supercharged applications or with alot of nitrous. Not needed for anything short of that though. You'd need to have reciever grooves machined into the heads to use them.
