JB Weld Original Coldweld Epoxy
J-B Original is designed to be an alternative to welding, soldering and brazing. This epoxy bonds to most clean surfaces, and it will set in 4 to 6 hours and fully cure in 24 hours. J-B Weld Epoxy is waterproof, resistant to petroleum, chemicals and acid, and can be drilled, machined, painted, sanded and filed once cured. It's super-strong, nontoxic and temperature resistant up to 600°F.

have used this product for many repairs,but the one repair that really sticks out is when i repaired the cracked cylinder head on my 1988 f250 plow truck.I did replace the head 5 years later when i resealed the entire engine and the repair was still holding at that time.Amazing product!

No, this part JB Weld Original Coldweld Epoxy, Part No. 8265-S is not recommended for use on manifolds, exhaust systems, and other engine components which normally operate at temperatures above 500° F. This part can be used by mechanics with confidence as it is designed for safe, reliable, permanent repairs in engine compartments and heated environments up to 500° F. It's strong as steel and impervious to water, gasoline, chemicals, and acids.

is there any jb weld product that can be used on rubber or plastic such as RUBBER around the frame of a car door?

If you have a rust hole in an oil pan, you need to get all the rust completely off first. Basically cut it all out of the pan. Then you would need to weld in a piece of metal to patch the hole.
