Comments about Bars Leak Liquid Aluminum Radiator Stop Leak:

My 1999 Ford Expedition's heater core began to leak rather badly. Called 3 mechanics and the price to fix was between $880.00 to $1,100.00 because in order to get to the heater core in a Ford, one must pull the dashboard and the center console. Everything must be disconnected including the AC lines. So a $100.00 heater core becomes a labor intensive job because of the basic bad design of most cars.
I picked up a bottle of Bar's Liquid Aluminum Radiator Stop Leak, poured it into the system and in less than 1 minute the leak stopped.
I just drove 220 miles in 98 degree heat with the AC on full and not a leak, not a dribble, not a drop.
        This stuff really works!

I had a pretty bad leak on my radiator in a 98 jeep grand cheerokee. Added this to radiator, then let engine idle for 20 mins. At bout 17 mins the leak has stopped. Nothing wrong with engine or nothing. When adding additives don't drive vechiles, idle them. If give additives proper time to do their job right.

Stay away Bars Aluminum Stop Leak! Added it to my 97 Ram 1500 to hopefully seal a drip from the water pump... Next day my water pump is leaking worse than before, and now it's in the shop. Certainly not worth the money.
