      This product was recommended as a replacement strut for a aftermarket fiberglass hood. Here it seems to be presented as a replacement for stock hood struts. Will it work with the lighter hood? Or is it too strong for the fiberglass hood too?

        This Strong Arm Lift Support with part# E4142should work fine on lighter fiberglass hood. As it is application specific, In order to check the exact fit application, please provide the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.
