My original factory 2000 Honda CR-V horn died. It was a useless horn anyway. So, I researched for a replacement set & took a chance on the Wolo. Of course you have to clip the factory connectors & attach the supplied spade connectors. But other than that it was a simple one bolt replacement for each horn. You do NOT need to remove the bumper, or anything else. Just use a 6" extension on your ratchet. The sound is plenty loud & sounds like a good old American car instead of an anemic Japanese imitation of the Road Runner. No regrets here & I highly recommend it!

I have to cut off the special connectors used to attach to the OEM horns and solder on female "spade" connectors to connect to the new horns. The horns are much louder than the OEM horns on my 2006 Sedona.

Comments about Wolo Horn 2 Universal:
Installed these on a 97 F150. The original bracket was thicker than the pieces that came with the horn, so it made it hard to thread the horn bolts using the provided lock washer. I had to bend the lockwasher a bit flatter, and then it went together OK. Not as loud as I thought they were going to be, but enough to pass the inspection. I would have preferred a totally flat black case and grille, so keep that in mind. The connectors in my truck wiring slipped right onto the tabs on the horn, so that part was really quick. Orienting the horn openings to be facing downward (per the instructions to avoid water getting inside) was made tricky by having to make sure the electrical terminals didn't get in the way if the bracket. Would be better if the terminals were at a right angle so the wires don't interfere with the mounting surface. In the end it worked OK, but just be wary of where the wires are going to rub.

Bought this for a car we were fixing up to sell. Sounds great, not high pitched, just a normal horn. FYI the red pieces can be removed which we did because it looks like a toy with them on and looks obnoxious on a purple car lol

Comments about Wolo Horn 2 Universal:
I bought these to replace my failing, wimpy single stock horn on a Toyota Corolla. Although installation required some mounting bracket bending, minor wiring modifications and fitment testing, overall it was not difficult and the result was a vast improvement over stock. I'd recommend these to anyone.

One of the horns didn't work at all, the other sounded like a cheap electronic buzzer. Didn't sound like the example on their website. Pretty disappointed, returning to the store.

Comments about Wolo Horn 2 Universal:
I have an old Mercedes that I needed to replace a horn. I noticed this horn set had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I've been very impressed. It's solid plastic which I like for durability. It has a complete kit of parts with it needed for installation. The instructions were great! I've been very impressed with the quality and sound from this horn set. I also like the covers over the horn opening to keep our debris.

Comments about Wolo Horn 2 Universal:
I could not stand the sound of the horn on my 99 Protege. Could not put the horns in the original spot, but after drilling two holes and extending the wires, the horns work great. Now the horn sounds great and can be heard by all. I recommend it to anyone needing to have a loud horn.

Bought this horn for my 2002 Ford Focus. This horn is much louder than the factory original and has a better sound. The original horn sounded like an angry mosquito, now it sounds like a horn.

Comments about Wolo Horn 2 Universal:
A couple of good loud horns. Put them on a 2000 Honda CRV and had to install the flat female connectors that came with it. Could probably have done it with a ratchet extention through the grille if I didn't have to change the wiring and if the existing bolts weren't rusted to hell, but in my case it was easier to take the bumper off. Used a crimping tool and didn't have to solder. Comes with connectors and ground leads if you have to change your existing horn wires. Overall a pretty easy installation, and this sounds way better than the stock "meep meep" horn that Honda owners will be familiar with, and which in my case had seemed to aquire their own source of rust (nothing around them was rusty), and which had stopped working except for a feeble "gech" sound.
They're plastic, which isn't always a good thing, but seem sturdy enough, and rust won't be a problem. Just put them on last week, so time will tell.

I bought these online for my sons car as the stock horns just quit. The car had dual horns and this set comes with 2 horns and an installation kit making them versatile to put just about anywhere you want. The job was done in about 10 to 15 minutes and these horns just roared. My son was happy as was I that he had horns now.A month later and still good.
