I used this on two cars; 13 years old and 14 years old. I was able to complete both of them in less than 30 minutes with nothing more than the bottle and a few shop towels. It effectively removed the yellowing and hazy buildup and gave me the crystal clear lens I was looking for. They are brighter at night and I couldn't be happier. It will not removed the cracks caused by age so don't expect that. Not only would I recommend this to my friends, I gave the bottle to my dad and brother for their cars. Worked great on theirs too!

After an accident my 03 Nissan Maxima received a new driver side headlight. Unfortunately the passenger headlight was not replaced and the yellowing and hazing was very noticeable. Also while driving at night, the driver side HID lights were definitely brighter.
Prior to purchasing this product, I checked online for inexpensive, easy ways to clean the passenger headlight. Using toothpaste and baking soda seemed to remove alot of the yellowing, but still had a hazy look to it. I tried rubbing compound and that seem to keep the same results. I was satisfied at that point but almost a year have past and the headlight have returned a dull look again.
I didn't want to use sandpaper or kits that used sandpaper as the main use for results. I saw some videos with decent results of this product. Advance Auto Parts had it on sale this month and with the online coupon, definitely was worth a try.
I followed the instructions in about 40 degree weather, not sure if cold climate affects results. Also didn't use sandpaper as I don't think the headlight is that bad off and worth the risk of scratching. Hand buffed the product off while dry. Performed 2 more times and tried even removing the product while wet.
There is a noticeable improvement, but still have some hazing to the passenger headlight. I recommend pouring the product slowly at the top of the headlight and rub it in with the cloth or towel. Pouring on the cloth seem to absorb more of the product and starts to get on your hands. I also applied it to the new driver headlight with no noticeable difference. Both headlights have a smooth clean feel to them now. Also applied to the fog lights and brake lights with no real noticeable difference.
Attached pics and you can be the judge. With a 2 pic limit, wanted to show close ups. Difficult to see without comparing it the new headlight. For the price, it does the job. Will add another review when using on my sisters headlights.

I thought this was the (S*S* Different Box) so, I was reluctant to try another product. This stuff works great!!! I used for cloudy/ yellowing headlights -2000 Merc Sable. Now the lights look great. If the damage it really bad, use #2000 grit sandpaper- keep it wet and use small circular motions without pushing down too hard, wash off and dry. Once done, use this product in small circular motions and wipe away. The first time may not get all the polish where it needs to go. and re-apply if needed.

It works great. Repeated it twice for a good cleaning and it did just as I hoped it would.

I used a kitchen towel to apply on a 2002 honda odyssey which had faded headlight lens. I applied it twice on each lens - rubbing for about 5 minutes each time. The glass has regained its brightness and I would say 90% restored. There is still a little dullness in the middle and may require one more round or possibly using the wet sander as suggested in the instructions.
I can say that the yellow haze has completely disappeared and the lights are much brighter now after applying this product.

Comments about Blue Magic Products Headlight Lens Restorer:
After researching auto lens restorer products online, I decided to go with Blue Magic due to the high number of positive reviews. I have two autos that had very yellow and hazy headlight lenses. I began on my 2006 Hyundai Tucson with only the Blue Magic restorer product and a towel. After 3 - 4 applications and buffing as per the instructions, I only noticed a very marginal improvement. I then used 2000 grit wet/dry paper on the lenses along with Blue Magic product and did see better results, but still far from what I expected. I then did two additional applications with a towel, working the product for 3-4 minutes each time and then buffing. Again, not much improvement. At this point I almost gave up, but decided to try Blue Magic on my 2001 Nissan Frontier. WOW! Using the exact same technique that I used on the Hyundai, I saw a substantial improvement on the first application and with only Blue Magic and a towel. I reapplied two additional times and the lenses on the Frontier look almost like new. The only reason I can conclude for the drastic difference in results, is the two companies must use lenses made of different material. Both vehicles are subject to the same elements, and the Frontier is also the older vehicle! I would recommend trying Blue Magic, especially since you can send unused product back for a full refund if not satisfied.

Comments about Blue Magic Products Headlight Lens Restorer:
Headlights on my Hyundai were horrible, scratched, pitted, yellow, and hazy. I thought I'd try this before paying more for a "sanding kit". I tried it without sanding first, and the yellow and haze were instantly removed. I had to use a scotch-brite (green)pad and 2000 grit sandpaper (wet-sanding) to really remove (even out) the pitting, then applied more of this product, buffed to a beautiful, clear shine. My headlights are like new again. I've even used this on the Lexan windshield of my motorcycle to remove the slight haze and yellowing from weather and bugs... It too is like new again (and stopped the headlight glare at night).

Have used and provided a review on my 03 Nissan Maxima headlight with a hazy look, not much yellowing to them. Was not that effective, but cold climate could be related to results.
My sister's 97 Toyota Corolla had headlights with severe yellowing and grime. With the lights turned on you barely notice them at night. Used the cleaner with better than expected results. After 3 passes the headlights looks really clear, no sandpaper was used. While applying to the headlights, you can see much of the yellowing on towel prior to buffing off. Removed by hand, no power tools used. Headlights are so much brighter at night. Was used in climate in mid 50s, will try my hazy headlight again in warmer climate to see if there is a better result.
Again, will note alot of the product gets absorbed on the towel or cloth used. Still, after 2 cars with 2 pairs of headlights and 1 fog lights and even cleaned brake lights. Feel like the bottle still have half of product left.

The process is the same as auto polish. It did a great job removing 3 years of cloudiness with a little elbow grease. Nice thing is that you don't need a drill, just 15 minutes. If it is going too slow, wet sand with 1000 grit then 2000 then this polish.

I used the product 3 times and each time it got better and better. Used a car buffer to buff it out and was amazed at how well it did the job. Had used 3 other very expensive products before with terrible results. Didn't expect this to be any better was happily surprised. Used on a 99 Taurus and now looks as good as my 08 Tundra. Highly recommended.

Bought it this morning and within 15 minutes my 10 year old car had clear headlights again. It won't get out cracks and frays from aging, but they look crystal clear and GREAT.
Make it easier to hand buff by doing about 1/3 of your headlight at a time and overlap the area to keep it from drying out on the lens.
Great product.

i tried this product before what was i doing wrong. it didnt work to well for me. should have i used a drill with a buffing ball? i put it on by hand followed the instructions and i was not impressed.1 answer

With products like these, sometimes if the hazing or yellowing is too bad, it wont work very as or as desired. I have personally used this product by following the directions as stated and was amazed at how well it worked.Q:
Does the product description indicate that it leaves a protective film to help resisst future hazing?2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This product uses an oxidation technique that removes the build up from the lenses, it does not leave a protective film on the lenses. This product does work really great and last a long time.A:
The product specifications do indicate that it resists future yellowing/hazing.Q:
Does this product work on glass headlights (not plastic)? This is an older car that has glass headlights and plastic fog and side marker lights.2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes it does work on glass lights.A:
It might work on the side-markers, and the fog lights, if you can reach them. It will not work on glass. Depending on the type of vehicle, buy new glass lights.Q:
When researching this type of product I noticed that all of the other ones had several steps (spray then sand etc.) Can this product be adequately effective since it is a (one-step) spray on only? I wouldn't mind if I had to do it a few times a year, as long as it clears up the lens.1 answer
A:
It is not a spray, it is a paste. I used it on all three of my vehicle, ranging from 2000 to 2004. It was easy to use and actually did the job as described. I have used other restorers with numerous steps, but they never work. This stuff is the real deal, and inexpensive too.Q:
Does it work on plastic lens cover scratches?4 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, the Headlight Lens Restorer by Blue Magic Products can be used on plastic lens cover scratches. Depending on how deep the scratches are, some buffing and polishing may also be required.A:
I wouldn't think that it would cover scratches. It worked great on the fog that had covered the headlights.
