I bought this for my sons car. First I checked the pressures on my Tahoe it said 50.5 psi. I thought really? Rides normal. I tested it against a number of calibrated gauges in our shop, (I work for a Department of Defense Contractor) All of our measurement, torque, pressure, temp etc tools are regularly calibrated as required by Government contracts. All the gauges in our shop gave the same results,35psi. This digital gauge reads 15.5 psi high.

Comments about Sentry Digital LED Tire Gauge:
AFter more than a year of use the readings have become erratic. Replacing all 5 batteries would be expensive and it might not be the batteries. It might just be the cheap innards.
I bought a metal pencil gauge to replace it at 1/4 the cost.

Comments about Sentry Digital LED Tire Gauge:
May be OK for a 60,000 mile rated tire, but not for high performace tires. Found that mine was reading 2.5 psi low and resulted in over inflating my DOT track tires which quickly showed signs of over inflation. Should have stuck with my old dial gage.

Comments about Sentry Digital LED Tire Gauge:
The Sentry SY504 is also sold as the Autocraft AC59, so the packaging may be different than pictured. But the gauges are the same. The LED display and flashlight make it easy to use in the dark.

Comments about Sentry Digital LED Tire Gauge:
This seems to be a reasonably accurate tire pressure gauge with +/- 1% accuracy according to the manufacturer. However, it does not come with a factory calibration certificate or any quality control guarantee. So, +/- 1% accuracy is not verified. I appreciate if the manufacturer provides some assurance to the customers in this regard.

Comments about Sentry Digital LED Tire Gauge:
Heavy metal case feels good. Seals easily against the tire valve. Gives an easy-to-read display. Numbers large enough for my aging eyes. A quality product.
