I own a 2007 Civic with 70,000+ miles with a mix of highway and city driving in New York. There has been a noticeable amount of drop in performance in response so I figured this was better than a full tune up. I noticed an immediate improvement in the throttle response, but I am on my first tank of gas with the product so I am not sure if it is the additive or if the fuel system is being cleaned out.

I own a 2005 Jeep grand cherokee laredo with 130,000+ miles. When there is a pick up in performance in such a seasoned vehicle its very easy to tell.Definitely does what it's supposed to.

Tried everything, 2001 SUV Chevy 250000 miles
They said sell it , engine light never would torn off. Even went to dealership spent $ 1000 turnup. Said your cost too much to turn off. So add your product and WOW day later turned off THANKS , RUNS SOOOOO MUCH BETTER THANKS AGAIN. Will use ALWAYS

This stuff seems to do a good job, I can tell a slight improvement in throttle response after going through a full tank of gas with the treatment added to it. I would probably get this again in the future.

Out of all the fuel system cleaners I have used, I must say this thus far has been the best. I used this cleaner along with texaco techron and the two combined made it seemed like I had a new car. Absolutely love this product.

I have been using this product since it came out. It works, I use it about one every 6 months. I really see a increase in pickup and MPG after and during use. Today there are so many brands of fuel they all have their own additives. Well some are good but most are bad. And this product cleans my fuel system up. Thats for sure.

I was having a hard time getting my car started,
I put this in my tank minutes before taking a
200 mile trip, couldn't tell if it was working
while going high speed. When I arrived at my
destination, I discovered my gas mileage to be
3-4 mpg better, my car started right up and my engine performance was truly amazing!
This stuff is great!

how often should you use a fuel system cleaner product like this particular one ,, monthly?? or mileage wise??1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The usage of this Lucas Oil Products Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner with part# 10512 is not based upon the monthly basis or mileage wise. You need to have your car's fuel system cleaned periodically. Newer, lower mileage cars warrant less frequent fuel system cleaning than older, higher mileage ones. The length of time between fuel system cleanings is more of an approximation than a specific time period. You should take into consideration variables such as the year, model and type of mileage. Short-trip, city-style mileage will generate substantially more engine gunk than highway mileage will. That engine gunk works its way right into the tips of the fuel injectors over time. The newer the car the better fuel injection technology it has, and the injectors are more clog resistant.Q:

VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Try the Deep Clean Fuel System Cleaner first. One bottle will be all that you need. You should be able to tell a difference within one tankfull.CUSTOMER CARE
A:
One bottle should be good for the tank for cleaning. Octane booster really wouldn't clean it out and if you did want to run octane booster, I would let the cleaner go through first and when you filled up again, I would then add it.Q:
I have used Lucas Oil products before but not their FSC. How does this product compare to SeaFoam?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Both are good products. I have used both products, and notice them helping but have not noticed one being better than the other.
