I love this radio. I previously purchased a Pioneer DEH 1100 from Advance and installed it in my car (first time I'd ever installed a radio, too!). I liked it so much that I bought the newer version, this one, for my sister's car. We have the same car (2000 Toyota Rav4), so it took me less than 20 minutes to install it the second time round (I soldered the wires before she came by). You'll need a wiring harness to install it (look on [@]: I got my Scosche TA02B harness for under $5). Then, just solder the harness wires to the Pioneer harness (match the colors, super easy), and plug it in. You may have to deadhead some wires if you don't need them (for me, it was the orange illumination wire on the harness because the radio does not have adjustable illumination, and the blue power antenna wire on the harness, because my car does not have a power antenna). Very easy, don't be afraid to do it yourself! (Also, my Toyota's ground line (black) is on the harness, so I removed the bolt-style end on the Pioneer harness, and just spliced the black Pioneer wire to the black Toyota wire instead of bolting it to the firewall, which is not possible in my car without drilling).The only thing I don't like about this radio is the illumination color: it lights up red, which doesn't match the Rav4's green interior illumination. The DEH 1100 has green lights, which I like better. But overall, you cannot go wrong with this radio. The quality of the WMA data CD's is so wonderful, and the AUX hookup is super clear, as well!

Like I said in the title, good, but not great. Sound quality is very good, but for the price, there are other units with more features like USB or SD slot. If this had one of those features it would be great. I use the MP3 hookup, and it works fine though, but that cable is just annoying. The brightness of the lights at night is just right, which is a plus.

Easy to install, Great sound. 1hr to install, and I am not a pro. Make sure you have 8ohm. speakers.
