Comments about K & W Chemical Automatic Transmission Slip-Stop and Leak Fix:
I have a 1997 Mercury Sable that was shifting in and out of overdrive and would shift hard in to second gear sometimes.I changed the filter and fluid and added Trans-X. The cars transmission is shifting smooth and has not jumped out of overdrive lately.

My tranny on my '03 Chevy Venture sticks/slips, however it is not leaking. The first few miles of driving, it stuggles to go into first gear and when I come to a complete stop, it feels like it's loosing pressure somewhere and it gives of a thump when I let my foot of the break. I just flushed the fluid six months ago and while it slighlty improved since, my fluid is now brown again. my front pump seal is leaking about a pint a month. will this product help?2 answers
A:
I used this product for a leaky front pump seal, it may reduce the leak but there is no "fix in a can" that will repair a damaged seal. You will need to remove the transmission to replace the seal or a cracked torque converter (I have seen this happen creating a leak).CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I recommend that you go to a transmission specialist and have them fix your transmission.
