Q:
I have a 2001 Alero. Is there an attachment to extend the hose? My low pressure valve is down low?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, I am sorry. This Interdynamics Arctic Freeze Ultra Synthetic R-134a Refrigerant with Reusable Dispenser and Gauge (14 oz.) with Part No. AF-2 does not have an attachment to extend the hose further. For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.Q:
I have a 1998 Mercury Sable and the AC blows no cold air at all...Would recharging the AC be the right solution?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Low refrigerant is the most common cause of a car’s air conditioner not cooling well. There are many other reasons a car’s A/C may be blowing out warm air though. We strongly recommend the use of an AC manifold gauge set when checking a system.Q:
How can I tell if my vehicle is R134 or not, I have a 1999 Chrysler Concord.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Your 1999 Chrysler Concord should be an R134a refrigerant.Q:
On a can of Artic freeze with a guage, when hooked up to the car, if the guage reads in the red, does it mean that the car is full of freon or empty.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Your system is going to need the coolant to be refilled, if you have a red gauge.Q:
how many cans do a vechile usually hold1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Usually between a little less than a pound to two pounds.Q:
if my car has been retro fitted then am i able to use this system??1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
If your vehicle is retro-fitted and the R-12 is evacuated out, you should be able to use this R-143a.Q:
Does this product lower the air temp coming from my vents and if so by how many degrees?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Freon is what is used to help provide cooler air coming through the vents. The temperature of the air that comes through the vents actually depends on the temperature of the outside air. Usually, the way to tell that your A/C system is working properly is when the temperature of the air coming through the vents is at least 20 degrees cooler than the outside air. Humidity also plays a factor in the temperature.Q:
the end will not fit on my car. what should i do?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This for the R134a system. If your AC system is R12 this will not work. You also need to put this on the low pressure side access port.Q:
How long does the refrigerant last, or is this a product I will need every two weeks type of thing. I checked my hose and found no leak.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
If the A/C system on your vehicle is working properly and does not have any leaks, it should last quite some time. If you are having to add refrigerant regularly then you most likely have a leak in your A/C system.Q:
Do you just add to the existing R134a that's already in the system. Are there any compatibility issues..1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes you just add to the R134a system.
