First I will say this is a diferent design 900 peak jump starter. Maybe the problems that I have had is the reason. On to the problems. In January while trying to hook starter up to power cord it pushed the prongs on the unit back into the unit, could not be recharged. I returned it to the store although I had ordered it online and it was swaped
for another one. Now 5 months later the replacement was found dead and it will not charge, so it sits at 30% until you pull the plug and it goes to 20%. Now the other unit that I received is lossing its charge and has to be recharged about every 3 weeks or so or it will be useless when you need it.

Incredible product!!!! I got it thinking about returning it after my first use but changed my mind when I saw how good it was. I will never leave home without it. It goes wherever I go, and whenever I switch vehicles I transfer it so I always have it on hand. Perfect for all vehicles and I'll never have to worry about trying to find someone with jumper cables, along with someone willing to jump your car. Perfect for all automatic transmitions; bikes, cars, trucks, and SUV's. Get it and never leave home without it. You won't regret it.

My first one had to go back because it would not charge at all. The 2nd one came and it will only charge to 90%. Not worth all the work returning. You need a jump starter you can trust. This product is not it. Shop for another product even if you have to pay $10-$15 more. I don't trust the Peak product line after this experience.

Charged to full in few minutes right out of box and started dead car. Instructions say to charge for hours before use, display indicated full after a few minutes. Only time I used it, worked well.

Just purchased this product on-line for store pickup. I get home and product looks nothing like item I ordered online. No cables included so unable to charge with cigarette lighter and if you don't have an extension cord....forget about charging unit from home ac. I called customer service and they told me that I would have to return it for refund, go back online and reorder in order to get my online discount. Asked if I could simply return it where I just bought it 30 mins ago and swap it out for another and they told me their system was not set up to process that way. Will not use AAP again... Thanks for all the great service.

A solid feeling unit. I have owned it for two weeks and have used it once: on a 5-cylinder Volvo that had a weak (not dead) battery after sitting in 5 degree weather for a few days. Product performed as expected, it took a minute or two to get enough juice transferred for the car to start. As always with jump-starting, you have to make sure that the clamps make good contact with the battery terminals ... scrape them around a little bit to get through any dirt and corrosion.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the product I received does not look like the picture on the website. However, it does have all the same features and spec.

Used it twice so far. Worked as expected. Looks different than what is shown on line. Company said it is because the one that I got was a newer version.
