For the price it's decent, the ratchets aren't that bad, being I used them every day they broke within 3 weeks...The adaptor they give to use the 3/8ths ratchet to use the 1/4 inch sockets broke the first time used. I also found there is no 15mm socket which is sort of common to use....other than that, it's [$], I don't regret buying it, just don't expect too much out of it....

Comments about Toolworks 75-Piece SAE and Metric Steel Socket Set:
Used to change my spark plugs, light bulbs, and oil change had no complaints. Was expecting lesser quality and was surprised with what I got.

Comments about Toolworks 75-Piece SAE and Metric Steel Socket Set:
I bought these because my Craftsman set wasn't with me at the time and they were cheap. I did a brake job on my Tacoma and they seemed to work ok. I did another job on my friend's 4runner and they didn't do so well. I used the 3/8" wrench and the extension for it. The extension actually just twisted and sheered off when I tried to take off the calipers. Then I took the extension out and the gears on the wrench broke and now it spins both ways. I then used the 1/2" wrench and the socket stripped the first time I tried to use it. The set would prolly be ok for light duty stuff but trying to take off a bolt like that is not what these are made for I guess. I'll stick with Craftsman from now on.

Comments about Toolworks 75-Piece SAE and Metric Steel Socket Set:
I had to return the first set because the 3/8" socket wrench didn't work right out of the box. The quality is low but that's what I expected for the price. It's a good spare tool set to keep in the car for the times when you need some tools away from home or a great tool set for the children to use instead of your good socket set. The three stars is based on this being an average cheap tool set. If I had to pay more for this, I would have given it a one to two star rating.

Worked great when replacing the front brake pads and rear calipers on my car, but the rubber in the spark plug socket kept getting stuck onto the new plugs when I installed them.

Comments about Toolworks 75-Piece SAE and Metric Steel Socket Set:
Useful for average automotive repairs. Limited as it contains only one short extension and no deep well sockets. Still, for the price a beginner or average homeowner would find this product useful.
