You'll keep the oil off the ground until you have to poor it into a container. It is not pour friendly and will casue a mess. After changing the 7 qts* of oil in my vehicle, I proceeded to dump a quart on the ground while transferring it from this pan to a containter.
*Positive note: Supposedly it's a 7 quart pan but 7 quarts of oil left plenty of space in the pan.

Be prepared to spill some oil. Very poor pour spout. other than that it works fine. may want to use with a fluid transfer pump to avoid any extra clean up!

Oil is more likely to spill over the sides than run down the spout.

It is a bowl that you can empty stuff into. The bowl has a spout that is there to fool you into believing it will work like a spout. You will be forever trying to empty the bowl using the spout.

Does what it's supposed to, catch oil although it could stand to be a bit taller as I only had about an inch of room left.
The lip is a nice touch but don't expect exact pours since, you know, oil is kinda thick.

Product is flimsy. When filled with 5-6 qt of oil and lifted, the sides bend sometimes spilling the oil. You get what you pay for I guess!

This drain pan is perfect because it can use 7 quarts, more then what I need, and it slides and fits easily under my low riding vehicles. One bad thing is the pouring of oil when you're done but it's an easy fix... just buy a wide mouth funnel.
