I have used the golf cart, these batteries are in, every day of the 2+ weeks since I installed them. I use the cart when feeding and doing other chores around the farm. These batteries are a great value and hold their charge well under use. A bonus was finding them on sale at AdvanceAutoParts.com which saved me about 25% over what I would have paid at a local golf cart shop.

these battery's were perfect for the lift unit, but because there battery's were quite heavy, could have used a strap for better handling

Q:
Most 6v deep cycle batteries are rated based on an amp-hour rate, usually 5 hr and 20 hr. For instance, a Trojan T105 is rated at 185 amps at the 5 hr rate and 225amps at the 20 hr. rate. The Trojan T125 is rated at 195 at 5 hrs and 240 at 20 hrs. Your 190/156 amp hr isn't very descriptive. Can you more fully explain those ratings?1 answer

The Reserve capacity of this Autocraft Golf Cart 6-Volt Golf Cart/EV Deep-Cycle Service Battery 190AH/156AH with part# GC2 is 115 min at 75 Ah m and so the Ampere-Hours at the 25 amp rate of this battery should be 47.92 Hrs.Q:
I am looking for replacement batteries for my golf cart. Can anyone tell me if these batteries are any good? I use my golf cart to drive around my campground & so do the kids-around & around & around etc.... Are these the batteries I am looking for? I am clueless and this is a very expensive investment. Thanks for any help!1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The Battery from Autocraft will be the best suitable one for your golf cart. Since, these are Heavy-duty batteries it will drive for a longer period of time, you can consider this as a better investment for your cart.Q:
My boat has 2 group 24 12-volt batteries, one for engine starting and one for house load. I want to keep one group 24 12-volt for engine starting, but replace the other with two 6-volt wired in parallel for house load. The batteries are kept charged with a charger connected to my shore power system. Can I mix these battery types?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, it is not recommended. You should not pair up a Group 24 battery to a 6 volt golf cart battery. You can use 2 Group 24 12V batteries or 4 6V golf cart batteries.Q:
yes what does 190AH/156AH Mean? Is it 190 amp hours or 156??? Im looking at your 6 volt golf cart battery1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, this is a 6 volt golf battery. Manufacturers frequently specify the rated capacity of their batteries in ampere-hours at a specific discharge rate. This means that a lead-acid battery rated for 190/156Ah (for a 10-hour rate) will deliver 19 amperes of current for 10 hours under standard temperature conditions (25ºC or 77ºF).Q:

We have just purchased a 6 volt Autocraft golf cart battery and a terminal post has meltted. Any repair suggestions?2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.A:
The terminal post melted because the connection to the battery cable was not tight which created an arc between them. It cannot be repaired, only replaced.
