I have used the golf cart, these batteries are in, every day of the 2+ weeks since I installed them. I use the cart when feeding and doing other chores around the farm. These batteries are a great value and hold their charge well under use. A bonus was finding them on sale at AdvanceAutoParts.com which saved me about 25% over what I would have paid at a local golf cart shop.

Most 6v deep cycle batteries are rated based on an amp-hour rate, usually 5 hr and 20 hr. For instance, a Trojan T105 is rated at 185 amps at the 5 hr rate and 225amps at the 20 hr. rate. The Trojan T125 is rated at 195 at 5 hrs and 240 at 20 hrs. Your 190/156 amp hr isn't very descriptive. Can you more fully explain those ratings?

The Battery from Autocraft will be the best suitable one for your golf cart. Since, these are Heavy-duty batteries it will drive for a longer period of time, you can consider this as a better investment for your cart.

No, it is not recommended. You should not pair up a Group 24 battery to a 6 volt golf cart battery. You can use 2 Group 24 12V batteries or 4 6V golf cart batteries.

Yes, this is a 6 volt golf battery. Manufacturers frequently specify the rated capacity of their batteries in ampere-hours at a specific discharge rate. This means that a lead-acid battery rated for 190/156Ah (for a 10-hour rate) will deliver 19 amperes of current for 10 hours under standard temperature conditions (25ºC or 77ºF).

What are the specifications of this Battery? Compare it to an EGC-2 Duracell, Interstate U2200, Trojan 105,
and Crown CR-225 in as many aspects as possible. Who makes this battery for Advance Auto Parts and what does it compare to in the manufactures line of batteries? What does this battery weigh? I am looking at replacing the 4 U2200 batteries that are in my RV. There are many 6 volt batteries on the market, but I want to know by the data, why should I buy from Advance Auto Parts? Those Duracells at Sam's club look pretty darn good. I just want to make an informed decision based on manufactures specifications.

I just measured and it is 6 7/8 wide so it will fit my motorhomes 7 inch wide basket. Go and check before you use an inferior 27 series marine battery when you really want the Cart batteries in series for 12v.

For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.

The terminal post melted because the connection to the battery cable was not tight which created an arc between them. It cannot be repaired, only replaced.
