Our TS-G1643R speakers are excellent choices to replace a bad set of factory 6-1/2" speakers. Their two-way design handles 160 watts max power (30 watts nominal) and feature Pioneer's extremely strong and lightweight IMPP™. Composite cone woofer, for improved sensitivity and reduced distortion. You don't get just basic, run-of-the-mill features either. The conex damper delivers higher power handling and deeper bass, and the 1-3/16". Balanced dome tweeter with high-energy neodymium magnet reproduces highs with great performance and musicality. These speakers are designed with a shallow mounting depth for easy install into a wide variety of vehicles. Speaker grilles are included.

These speakers are the bomb. I bought 2 sets of these (a total of 4) and a JVC stereo for my car. After a little splicing and dicing and getting them in the door, they sound great. Also extremely easy to install. I was worried about the bass as these are very slim speakers. Forget about it. I have the JVC turned up on Bass Boost mode and you would never know that you don't have a sub (except the mirrors don't rattle and such). The only thing to be weary of on the bass boost is that if you turn it up very loud (more than any human can take for any length of time, like seriously), the bass gets a bit distorted, but this is normal for any speaker you buy weather $50 or $150. Overall, great purchase! P.S. Advance Auto has these the cheapest around.

No where near the bass as the original BOSE speakers but only replacing the two in the back doors it isn't that noticable , especially in the front seat. The mounting holes didn't line up prefectly but was able to make them work without drilling.One of the rear speakers had already been replaced and that speaker had the same connecter as the BOSE, would have been nice if these speakers had the same connecters so I didn't have guess the pollarity.
All in all I say they installed pretty easily and sound pretty good , I'm happy. Thanks

These went into the rear of a 2010 vw beetle. Be aware when putting these in they will have much less bass response over factory speakers. The stock location is not sealed tight enough for these aftermarket speakers these resulting in poor low frequency output. Mounted on a flimsy piece of sheet metal I am surprised the stock speakers have as much bass as they do mounted in there. A speaker baffle behind these may benefit. At first I thought I may have reversed the polarity but that is not the case. Just an FYI for beetle owners.

The sound quality is almost as good as my $150 Infinity Kappas. You will not find better speakers for the money.
