Comments about Royal Purple 5W-30 Motor Oil (1 qt.):
Switched from Mobil1 and glad I did. Not that it was bad, just Royal Purple is better. Cleaned contaminates out the first time I used it, and looks just as clean after 4500 miles as when I put it in afterwards. Noticed slight improvements to idle, and highway driving. Also noticed a slight increase in fuel savings.

Comments about Royal Purple 5W-30 Motor Oil (1 qt.):
Takes a bite out of your wallet but definitely worth the price. I noticeably get higher MPGs and smoother revs at lower RPMs
Comments about Royal Purple 5W-30 Motor Oil (1 qt.):
Started using this in my car at 51,000 miles. Will continue to use it for the rest of my cars life.My engine is a small 2 liter which the rpm's run much higher vs. a 6 or 8cyl. so I want the best protection I can get. Also, I add about 1/3 of a bottle of Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer and this combo makes that little motor run as smooth as silk which is what I want ! Highly recommend !

Would this oil be alright to run in my 1997 Ford Ranger? Its has stock V6 in it but the only downfall is that it has a little over 200,000 miles on it. The Engine checks out pretty good, no knocking or signs of anything wrong. So would Royal Purple be the way to go or no?1 answer

A:
Royal purple(5w-30) oil in a regular 5000 miles oil change interval keeps your engine lasts very long time.Q:
I have never used Royal Purple before or Mobil 1.2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I would use Mobile1 5W-20 full synthetic. I prefer Mobile1 over Royal Purple. However, if you use a full synthetic oil, you must keep using it or take the chance of oil leaks being created.A:
I would recommend using royal purple in 5w-20. I approve synthetic oils for all vehicles simply because they contain additives in them that help keep engines cleaner and prevent build-up. By using synthetic oils, you can extend your oil change intervals by about double. To further keep your engine in tip top shape, I would also recommend using a high quality oil filter which provide better filtration and durability.Q:
