Nice and big so oil doesn't get everywhere when draining the pan and filter. Holds tons of fluid, but I only ever have a max of about 6 quarts in it because it'll start to slosh around when you pick it up. It cleans out easily with a rag and is pretty easy to pour into a container (w/a funnel of course). The plastic is a little thin in my opinion, so hopefully it holds up over years of being slid on the garage floor.

big, but a little too big for my cars
a bit cumbersome, but really cheap ([$]) makes it a good deal for a truck or high clearance vehicle.

Comments about Rhino Gear 5-Gallon Drain Pan:
Have one for oil and a another one for coolant. Holds a nice amount of fluid and don't have to worry about overflow. Fairly easy to get into tight spaces, slides under the front end of my 94 Camaro. Having the cap on the spout ensures no spill from it and can easily be cleaned.

This thing is huge! Yes, she said that...
Problem is, the plastic is thin and feels flimsy, if nearly full, you would have to grab it by the handle otherwise the plastic edges would bend. When your under the car, its not always easy to reach for the handle. Unless you plan to change every fluid in the car at the same time, get a smaller thicker drain pan.

Comments about Rhino Gear 5-Gallon Drain Pan:
Works great for coolant changes where capacity and splash collection is key. The drain cap breaks easily though. The rest is tough enough for home use and is easily moved around while filled. Easy to lift and empty into other containers. Mine was gray plastic and Made in the USA.

Comments about Rhino Gear 5-Gallon Drain Pan:
Works fine. Holds alot for the money. Mainly needed something I can drain the antifreeze with and then put it back (since it was new). Worked great for this. If you have empty bottles, the nozzle works great for the used stuff as well. A large cover would have been nice to transport for disposal, but for the price Im not complaining.

Comments about Rhino Gear 5-Gallon Drain Pan:
I like large diameter and capacity. It minimizes splashing oil and I can drain filter and pan into one container instead of two smaller ones. I used to use 6 qt container, but it would not work well on European cars with larger oil capacity.
Seems well built. The only issue after using it couple of times is that the cap broke. I called manufacturer and after couple of weeks received two new caps in the mail. I guess I will tighten it finger tight from now on.

This is a nice pan for the money and the super large capacity is nice for doing multiple oil changes.

Comments about Rhino Gear 5-Gallon Drain Pan:
This is your basic drain pan. It works well and has more than enough room for my truck's oil (7 Qts). The only thing I don't like is the cap that screws onto the drain is held on with a piece of plastic. Once you take off the cap to drain, the cap gradually moves into the path of the draining oil and then you get oil all over. It would be much better if it were held on with a rope or metal tie that had a 'holster' for the cap molded on the side of the drain. Otherwise, this is exactly what I needed.

Like this product. Wish the mouth was a bit smaller to make pouring dirty oil into storage containers easier. Otherwise, a good buy for the money.
