I bought this product to add some light to my tool box. The description on the box says that it takes 3AAA batteries. That is a misprint. It Takes 3 AA batteries. I had my local Advance Auto Parts check to make sure that the lights worked before I bought them. They didn't but all we had to do was change out the batteries. I bought some 3M double sided tape to mount the lights inside my toolbox. It works great and provides plenty of light. I recommend this product.

NEVER worked! Says that it uses 4 AAA batteries, but only has place for 3 AA. I put batteries in and got NOTHING. WHAT A WASTE!

I mostly use this for inside my laundry room when I have troubles getting the florescent light to come on because I keep my house so cold. Last week, I went outside at night to check something on the car and even though I have a head lamp, it just did not seem bright enough. I was able to use the magnetic back to attach it to the inside of the hood so I could look over everthing just for a minute. I really like the versatility and how bright it is with the 48 LEDs.

I use this inside a cargo van with no interior lighting. One of them lights up the entire cab. I'm buying two more, so I can light up the entire van. SUPER BRIGHT!!! My van has no headliner, so they stick to the metal roof. Works perfect!
