This proved to be better than I expected, and the price was right. It took about 3 hours to install in my Town and Country minivan. I had to plan it out carefully. I mounted the camera on the bottom of license plate bracket so as not to cover the state name on the plate. Drilled one hole behind plate to run wire through tailgate (between outer metal and the removable vinyl panel on inside of tailgate) to upper corner where I fished it behind the upholtery on the post to the transmitter. I fished the wire from backup light through the same place to the transmitter, running it under the rubber molding from the light up to that corner. It was easy, but time-consuming. I was surpised that the picure on the small monitor was so clear. I have already recommended it to others.

This system was easy to set up and use. It worked well as long as the wireless transmitter and the monitor were in close proximity OR had line of site with each other. As soon as I installed the camera and wireless transmitter on the rear license plate of my full size crew cab, I lost signal on the monitor. Raise the wireless transmitter up 3 feet (above the pickup box) and everything works fine again. I couldn't mount the wireless transmitter front far enough under the chassis to receive a clear signal on the dash mounted monitor. Might be good for small vehicles, but not on a full size pickup.

I use this to hook up a travel trailer and small trailer. It was only good for about 8 months.I tried to use it this spring to hook up travel trailer and screen is unreadable.

I bought this to make hooking up my boat trailer easier. It works great. EZ to install. The screen is a bit small, but thats what allows them to keep the cost down. They do make one with a larger screen but I didn't see the need to spend additional money. I mounted mine on a removable bracket that I hang on top of my tailgate to get a downward view of my hitch ball. I can see when the trailer coupler is directly over the ball. Perfecto!

i hooked mine up to my tail lights i can turn camera on when i please.it has two wires coming from camera so its not wireless

this gives me confidence while backing my Toyota Rav4. Have always hated how confined your view is when backing and this solves all of that giving me a better view of what is behind me as well as using side mirrors and rear view. Lets me see to back and hook up to my jet skies on my own without a spotter. like it very much, and is comparable to one installed when purchased.
