We do Interstate highway driving. It gives us advanced information regarding speed traps, risks or hazards on the road ahead. I miss not having a speaking voice since sometimes I do not want to take my eyes off the road, but the positive is that the tones auto reduce their volume shortly after the alert reducing the distraction from a noisy radar detector, making driving far less tedious and safer. The mounting instructions could include suggestions to clean the inside windshield to improve the hold of the suction cups. One suction cup was mangled in the package which made it difficult to mount.

It works sometimes but not all the time it seems after about 4 months it doesnt work anymore always picked them up from a good mile away and mine, my father in laws and grandpahs...Read complete review
It works sometimes but not all the time it seems after about 4 months it doesnt work anymore always picked them up from a good mile away and mine, my father in laws and grandpahs just dont pick them up anymore untill you are about 300ft away I got a $650 ticket doin 91mph on highway 220 because this thing wouldnt pick him up untill it was too late. It was wide open road no curves don't recomend for long term use.

I have only had the thing for a week and I do not consider myself a person that speeds on a normal occasion, but it has already paid for itself on a trip from a weekly doctors appointment to work while running very late caused by the doctors office! Even if you normally drive under the limit every once in a while you get distracted and if it happens to be at the wrong time anyone can get a ticket!! This detector keeps you aware of your surroundings!!!
