Own 2 Harley Davidson motorcycles and have yet to find a battery that lasts longer than 2 years. Will probably be necessary to keep bikes on trickle chargers at all times. Can't really blame the batteries as HD really needs to address the amperage, etc. needed to start their 'pieces of junk'.

I use it in a Yamaha Grizzly 600. Perfect fit. I got home after buying it, hooked it up and she started right up. No pre-charging. Great battery.

The threaded nuts included are inadequate. It is very difficult to get the cable attaching bolts started into the nut threads, the nuts keep moving away from the bolts. The nuts are too small, slide out of position, and are just too thin for the provided bolts to reach them. I had to tape the nuts to hold them in the correct position. With the bolts inserted into cable end loops it's almost impossible to get the threads started. There is nothing there to hold the nuts in the proper position, they are free to just move around. It's frustrating and could be easily fixed!

From what I have seen on the net the ETX20L should fit all twin cam (88 and 96ci)Dynas and Softails.
I just bought this battery today for my 07 FXDB Dyna Street Bob and it fit perfectly. Your FLSTF uses the exact same Harley battery (65989-97C) as my bike so it should be fine.
