I did not receive a fan by "Bell Automotive", but a fan by "Advance" which I guess is the same. The clip is very, very sterdy and easy to handle and I love how you can adjust the fan in any direction. The only problem I found is finding a place to clip the fan that did not interfear with my driving, and no matter what anyone says, a fan on a very hot and humid day is not like having air conditioning! The fan only blows extream hot air around which I found uncomfortable.

I bought this fan to distribute air better in my camper van (a Chevy Express). I'm using a propane heater for warmth and the heat was only rising and making the ceiling alarmingly hot while the rest of the van was cold... I mounted this fan unside down from the van's ceiling and it does a great job of moving the air around thus also keeping the plywood ceiling from getting too hot, too!
I'm glad I bought this noisy little fan. The only thing I really didn't like was that when hung upside down by the dash mount, the unit rattled in the dash mount - likely not a problem when attached right side up. I fixed that issue by cramming the dash mount bracket full of 5 lb rated outdoor adhesive tape from a home store.
It's a cute little fan for the price and easy to position to just the right place. I would buy it again. The only reason I didn't give it all fiver stars was the dash bracket as well as the high noise level.
