I purchased this battery for my 1986 Hond Goldwing as my last battery only lasted two years and required maintenance. This has a great warranty comparably. High Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) and is maintenance free!

This battery fires up the GL1500 Goldwing everytime. I waited too long to put it in. Use an online coupon to get it a little cheaper.

This battery replaces a PC680 lightweight battery for use in my 2004 STi. Where the PC680 struggled on cold days the ext-18l shines with its higher CCA rating. It accepts M6 threaded terminal posts although it's not clearly shown in the pictures.

With reference to your inquiry on the MagnaPower 12-Volt Sealed AGM Premium Powersport Battery, 340 CCA - Part No. ETX18L the terminals are viewed as left or right when looking at the battery before it is installed. When you look at the "front" of the battery, the label faces you and the terminals are toward the edge with the label, the "front." Looking at the battery in this configuration, one terminal is to your left and one to your right. You will have to use the included spacers for battery cables to fit properly. A:
Most batteries will self discharge in about 3 months, or about 90 days. This means that the self discharge rate is about one percent per day, so a trickle charger is used in such cases. At the end of the charge cycle, when the green ready light is on, the charger is trickle charging the battery in constant voltage float/standby mode, nominally at 2.3 Volts per cell. This is the same charge method used for batteries in standby applications such as alarm panels or emergency lighting, where the battery is intended to be charged 24 hours a day, every day. At this voltage, the battery will not be gassing so loss of electrolyte is minimal. The charge current drops exponentially to a very low level, sufficient to maintain the battery in a fully charged state and to compensate for any self discharge. Over time this low rate of charge will tend to equalise charge imbalance between the cells, which can extend the battery life. By leaving the charger switched on, you will prevent any risk of damage to the battery from sulphation (which can be caused by allowing the battery to stand in the discharged state).
