i can't beleive it took me this long to discover this battery! i have a 2004 electraglide classic. it's been bored to a 96 cu.in. with a stage 2 head job and high lift cam replacements. i also have a high end 2 into 1 equal length performance exhaust.i was told by my mechanic that because of the mods i needed to run a high dollar drag racing brand of battery.well after the first battery last 4 months i put a battery conditioner on it and bought another 265.00 battery.the second battery lasted about 6 months, and i was told thats just the price of owning a harley!well my third 265.00 drag racing battery lasted almost 6 months, and this is with a battery conditioner. plus i ride my bike 30,000 miles a year. in other words,i ride weekly, year round.this battery has out lived them all, and has more cranking amps,for half of the price. it's an exact fit, however i had to convert my terminals.it was well worth the 12 dollars to convert my cables...don't drink the kool-aid,this battery is far superior to those drag racing brand batteries.

Their website said that this was to be a perfect fit for my harley and it was just that. Other retailers websites didn't even allow you to input information about motorcycles. I ordered it online and went to my local store approx 7 miles away and when I walked in, it was sitting on the checkout counter. Independence, Ky. dealer is awsome and their people behind the desk know their stuff. They will get all of my business from now on. Thanks guys!

Direct replacement for my bike. Just drop the battery in but don't use the plastic spacer that comes with it. Easy starting on cold Colorado mornings after sitting in parking lot all night. Only reason for four stars, instead of five, is because time will tell true dependability.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

High output motorcycle battery, 400 Cold Cranking Amps, at a reasonable price. Made in America is another good selling point and a bonus was Advance Auto Parts had three in stock. Fit is exact replacement for Harley Davidson Road King and improved cranking and fast charging are both in the plus column. MagnaPower 12-Volt Sealed AGM batteries are perfect replacement batteries for all mototcycles, regardless of make. The low discharge rate holds power as the bike sits quiet during rainy days for all those round bottom girls out there who don't ride without sunshine.

Battery was installed in an ATV in my heated garage. When trying to start for the season 4 months later, battery was dead and showed open circuit on analyzer. Tried trickle charging for two hours with no results. Drove 20 miles to return to store. There analyzer did not read anything. I was told I would have to leave battery for a day so they could charge and get a printout from their analyzer to replace. Open circuit batteries dont charge when their bad. Lost 1 day and had to travel an extra 20 miles. I had to insist they put in writing they were keeping my battery overnight. If they lost or misplaced I'd be out battery cost.

I ordered online and picked up battery at local Advance store. The battery was available and ready to install, perfect fit and motorcycle starts better than ever. NOTE: While online an Advance representative asked if I needed any help, I did ask some questions and was answered rapid and professionally.

This appears to be a great battery, it is listed at 400 Cold cranking amps (CCA) which is fantastic. Harley's biggest motorcycle battery is only 315 CCA. If you have a high compression motor like I do, the 300 + CCA batteries have barely enough ummph to turn the motor over. Add in multiple starts like during a "Riders Education" class, either an extreme hot or cold day and 300 CCA's just doesn't get it.
All this information leads me to my point. When I found this battyer with both Glass Mat technology and 400 CCA for less than $200 I wanted it immediately.
Now the rub, Advance's website calls this an exact fit for a 2008 Harley Dyna Superglide (FXD) both online and in the store.
Let me be very clear IT IS NOT AN EXACT FIT!
The Factory battery is a full inch shorter and as it is fits very tightly in it's box as, so no way, no how is this a Direct fit.
Advance, hello? Please correct this.
I wasted 3 hours yesterday, 2 of which were in your store, not to mention the gas I wasted just driving to and from.
I would have given this battery 5 stars, and then some, if only it would have fit the application.
I would recommend this battery for a friend, but only if they have a 7" tall battery box.
Which the '08 FXD does not.

If the battery becomes defective after the Free Replacement Period and prior to the end of the warranty period, the warranty benefit will be prorated and can either be credited toward the purchase of a new battery or refunded at our option. The proration amount shall be determined by dividing the purchase price by the number of months of the warranty period, then multiplying the result by the months remaining in the warranty period.
