This is a must have for the DIY auto repair mechanic. Used these sockets to replace the steering gear box on a 2003 Sierra.

I have used this set a number of times with my impact wrench which can produce up to 580 ft/lbs. of torque. I have had no problems and the sockets show no wear. I think this set is the best value for the money I have seen in quite a while. I will probably buy the SAE set sometime in the next month or two.

If you do your own work, these are PERFECT. I would give ten out of five stars. It has a "rack" type of holder that works just fine for what it is. I wouldn't give it less starts because of a cheap "rack," but some have. These are awesome impact sockets... to tell you how great they are, I have an ingersoll rand that puts out 1050 f/lbs of torque and these things work great with it.

I used a plain steel socket and they cracked trying to remove stuck lug nuts from vehicle. I used this one and had no issue.

Heavy and durable. Really deep socket, not just a deep body on a shorty socket like the 'performance tool deep' sockets.

Considering all of the options out there, including brands like Craftsman and Snap On, these were the ideal choice for my needs. Not only pricewise, but the fact they're also guaranteed just as long and they are well made. Got my lug nuts off the tire in a snap and the rusted nut on my tie rod came loose after a couple of tries with these babies. An excellent choice for the home mechanic and weekend warrior. Save your money and get some of these!

I have only used a couple of times, but seem pretty durable. I wish it came in a box instead, has a somewhat rail, but don't depend on it.
