I have had one of these for years. Used it on cars, trucks, lawn mowers, boats, etc. I had to by another one because a dog chewed up the first one. It works great. It does the job quickly and efficiently. I have other more costly chargers that don't perform as well as this one.

The Schumacher SpeedCharge 1.5-amp maintainer is a small charger. It seems to be an excellent product, it has simple instructions so the average person should have no problem with using this charger. When one looks at the charger it looks and feels like a quality product. I have had other Schumacher chargers in the past. They have been excellent and have lasted for a number of years. I would expect this charger to last as well. I plan on using this charger to keep my battery charged for a vehicle I don't use during the winter. The charger has an easy to read display.

This inexpensive charger works great. Tried it with success on a moped, car, and to top off a truck battery. Not noisy, easy to use, processor controlled so no overcharging. It's an even better deal with the mail-in rebate, but I hate doing these stupid rebates...

Nice product, and with discount and rebate, it was a great value. Only negative is the unit only comes with on battery pigtail with ring lugs and additional pigtails are not sold separately.

Perfect for charging small batteries. Great for maintaining small and large batteries kept in storage – motorcycles, classic cars, RVs, boats • 1.5 amp charger and maintainer • LEDs indicate: Charging, Charged and Trouble • Automatically switches from Full Charge to Float-Mode Monitoring • Quick-Disconnect Harness – Snap either connector into place in seconds – Use the 50 amp clamps or permanently attach the ring connectors…great for hard-to-reach motorcycle batteries • Reverse-hookup protection. To charge more than one battery at a time, (for example: two batteries) at the same time you need to make sure they are wired in parallel. The two batteries should be connected to each other positive to positive and negative to negative. Then attach the charger positive to the positive on one battery and the negative to the negative of the other battery. Do not hook both leads up to one battery. It will obviously take longer to charge two batteries than it will to charge one.

I use a Battery-Tender Plus. This ia a charger with a built-in microprocessor that monitors the battery charge to fully charge then automaticly changes to float mode. I use this on my Sporster during the winter season. The Battery Tender Plus is ideal for motorcycles. This unit is a low charge with a microprocessor built in to monitor the output.
