Comments about Max Power 1/4" Fuel Shut-Off Valve:
The ethanol in today's gasoline is highly corrosive to carburetors and fuel systems. You should turn off the fuel supply and run the engine until it uses the gas in the supply lines and carb before storing the equipment for any length of time. You should drain the remaining fuel from the tank.

Comments about Max Power 1/4" Fuel Shut-Off Valve:
I purchased this for a 17 HP riding lawn mower with 1/4" fuel line. After installation, unable to run the engine beyond 2/3rds throttle without it starving for fuel. In addition, it runs out of gas after 1 gallon of the 3 gallon gas tank has been used...the carb is unable to draw fuel through the greatly restricted petcock without the extra weight/gravity of that first gallon.
I was hoping to remove it and drill it out slightly to improve flow. Can't do that because it's not a ball valve. It's a plastic cam mechanism with a rubber sleeve that seals against the intake port when turned perpendicular to the flow. Unfortunately, that cam and rubber sleeve remain in the center of the fuel path even when the petcock is fully open.
Probably works fine on smaller HP engines (10 and under?).
