I bought this for torquing down my head gasket, worked great(70 ftlbs), its also good for lug nuts. these clicker torque wrenches are designed to work best in the middle of its range and since this from 10-150 its best right around 80 ft pounds. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WRENCH TO USE AROUND 25FT LBS OR LESS YOU SHOULD GET A DIFFERENT SMALLER ONE, because you may not hear it click. also after tightening the knob on the wrench it can still move by a little like 5lbs or so so just dont twist the knob when toqueing. it doesnt feel the most sturdy so dont drop it or bang it.

Wrench worked as described, but when you are trying to torque bolts on a car with specific ratings, you need something accurate. My biggest problem with this wrench is that after setting the torque rating, it moves around while you are trying to tighten the bolt to that setting. Example: While trying to torque a bolt to 90, the handle wouldn't properly lock it place and the setting would slip to 80 or 85.

Easy to use. Good Quality. Make sure to lock it before you use it by tigheting the bolt on on the end. The only negative I can really think of is it does not come with a case.

Comments about Autocraft 1/2" Drive Click Torque Wrench:

I use this torque wrench to torque the wheels on my cars and friends cars that I work on.

I was able to get the wrench in tight spaces to tighten replaced wheel bearings, brake mount and sliding caliper bolts to factory torque specifications.

It gives a nice peace of mind to know you have bolts tightened to exact specifications and keeps you from breaking bolts and snapping heads.

Some people say they have problems with the wrench handle changing the torque value while they are torquing a bolt, but I've never had that problem; there is a lock on the wrench to prevent that. I don't know if I've just had luck or if they are using it wrong.

Sometimes it is hard to get this wrench into tight spaces.

I used this on the top end of a motor to torque head and intake bolts, etc. Accomplished everything I needed it to do. However, when you set the torque on the ratchet, it does not lock into place well. A great tool for the price.

Works like a charm! Very simple adjustments for ft/lbs. or kgs. with a very broad range. Helped me get my new calipers on with just the right torque. Big handle is also handy for breaking bolts loose and you don't have to put a ton of weight into it.

Love this wrench. It isn't too fancy, but once you get the hang of it, works perfectly. No guessing, no paranoia over over/under tightening, one good loud click and you are done. I used in installing spark plugs at 15lbs/ft and couldn't have been happier with the loud click the tool makes to let you know you hit your torque. Word to the first time user, try the tool at different settings to get a feel for how the click sounds before working on something that could cause real damage.

Comments about Autocraft 1/2" Drive Click Torque Wrench:

Like a lot of the other reviewers have stated, the wrench does not click until you get into the 25lb or higher torque range. Needed to tighten the head bolts on a garden tractor engine at 30lbs., but bolts need to be tightened in 10 pound increments. No click at 10 or 20lbs. Nice, loud click at 30lbs, can't miss it. For the money, it's a good buy. But as someone else stated, if you need it for less than 25lbs, you'll need to buy a different torque wrench.
