This is NOT light duty Bondo scratch filler, this is for repairing rust holes and does a remarkable job of that. Great for Jeeps and mud machines that get BIG rust holes, it is super strong and will hold your rusted out Jeep together!

i thought this would be better than the lightweight bondo. I thought wrong. This stuff is very difficukt to use but it is 10x stronger than lightweight. I will return to the lightweight. You may think different. I guess it depends on the application you are using it for.

Q:
I need to repare holes in the rocker panels and around the fender flares on my GMC truck. I was planning on removing the loose rust and badly rusted surfaces, using a foam filler then this Bondo product to make quick repairs. Would this work? This Bondo ® Bondo-Hair® Long-Strand Fiberglass Reinforced Filler - 1 Gallon Can - part# 764 should work fine for your application as it is formulated with long strands of chopped fiberglass for twice the strength of a regular body filler. Recommended for use on up to 1" rust holes, shattered fiberglass and dents where extra strength is required. Great for rebuilding missing pieces or vehicle restoration work.
