The Advance Auto Parts January Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on January 1, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on January 31, 2011 (“Promotion Period.”)
TO ENTER: go to www.advanceautoparts.com and follow the on-screen instructions. Limit one entry per person/email address during the Promotion Period. Multiple online entries during the promotion period, including multiple entries by the same entrant using different email addresses, will invalidate all but the first entry during the Promotion Period. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, damaged, forged, incomplete, illegible, garbled entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any: (a) telephone, computer, or network malfunction or error; (b) communication disruption or other forces beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor, including disruption related to Internet traffic, virus, bug or non-authorized intervention; or (c) damage caused by computer virus or otherwise resulting to any computer from entrant’s access of the Promotion website. If such malfunction, error, disruption or damage occurs, and impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Promotion, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated before the end date, Sponsor will determine winner in random drawings from all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor reserves the right to void all entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method and to disqualify any individual using such a method. The use of automated or third-party software or web site to register and/or enter is prohibited. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned.
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (except AK and HI) and D.C., 18 years of age or older, except employees of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising, sales promotion and judging agencies and all other service agencies involved with the Promotion, and members of the immediate families (parent child, sibling and spouse or households of each).
DRAWING: One (1) Prize will be awarded in a random drawing conducted from all eligible entries received and recorded by Sponsor’s computer from 12:01 a.m. CT on 1/1/11 through 11:59 p.m. ET on 1/31/11. Drawing will be on or about 2/10/11, conducted by the Sweepstakes Administrator, whose decisions shall be final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS: By entering, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules, Sponsor’s privacy policy, site usage terms, and by the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Potential prize winner will be notified by email and must respond with his/her name and address within seven (7) days of notification. Potential prize winner will then be sent Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Publicity Release (where permitted) forms which he/she must sign, have notarized and return in the prepaid overnight delivery envelope provided for delivery to the Sweepstakes Administrator within ten (10) days of receipt of the forms. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Prize will be shipped within 4-6 weeks of drawing date. Prize is non-transferable. No cash redemptions or substitutions permitted, except by Sponsor, who may, in its sole discretion, substitute a prize, or any portion thereof, of equal or greater value. All taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree that neither the Sponsor nor its affiliates or subsidiaries, nor any of their respective shareholders, directors, officers, distributors, employees or agencies including, but not limited to, Promotion Activators, Inc., will have any liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage, cost, or expense, including, without limitation, any personal injury, arising from or in connection with participation in the Promotion, or the acceptance, possession or use of prize. Void outside the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. and where prohibited. If due to any technical, production or other error, more prizes are claimed or awarded than are described in these Official Rules at any prize level, the number of prizes identified in these Official Rules will be awarded in random drawings from all such prize claims received. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.
