  • Q:

is this safe for aluminum parts. also can it be used in a parts washer?

    • A:

in regards to the aluminum question; On some and how its finished. some have a clear coating like on some wheels other wheels are hi polished and you have to maintain polishing so the effects on it wont give an immediate reaction but soaking over time it would tarnish and you have to re polish. The soft stuff you find on refrigerators and stoves it will almost change color before you can wipe it off and back to the painted or powder coat each coating has its own resistance paint might discolor even peal, powder coat will hold up much better but some colors can show discolor and left long enough all have some reaction at some point. Its best to find something similar and ck it out or on an area that no one see's if it tarnished or raised
