Comments about Wolo Horn Antique:

My wife got this for my 1974 Pinto, for my birthday. Just what I wanted. Great oohga sound. Even though there were no instructions included, it was pretty easy to figure out. (I think the instructions were missing from the box.)

Pros

  • Durable

  • Easy To Use
  • Versatile

Cons

  • None

Best Uses

  • Any Vehicle 6 And 12 Volt

Comments about Wolo Horn Antique:

This is a great fun horn suitable for all vehicles. and it works well with 6 volt systems too. Motor is a very reliable perment magnet type than the Wound Field on the old Ooga horn. This will be a perfect replacement for the Ford Model A, But for the Ford Model T you may need a diode if its hooked up to the magneto as it produces AC current and This horn is DC. This horn is Plastic as the metal ones are no longer produced like the Hutchins and Sparton Ooga horns.

Its great turns heads and gets some smiles and laughs.

      A:

Please follow the instructions to install the Wolo Horn Antique (Part No. 330). Find your vehicle's horn under the hood, Disconnect the wire or wires leading to the old horn. If there are two wires, attach them to the two terminals on the compressor. If there is only one wire, attach it to the positive terminal on the compressor, Find a location for the horn's trumpets near the compressor. Drill a 1/4-inch hole for each trumpet. Mount them facing down to prevent water from entering them. Secure the trumpets with the bolts, lock washers and nuts provided, Cut the plastic air tubing provided with the kit into three pieces of the appropriate length and use the supplied "Y" connector to attach both trumpets to the air outlet on the compressor, Test the air horn. If the compressor runs, but the horns do not sound, reverse the two wires on the compressor to correct the polarity. When the horn is working correctly, secure all wires and tubing to finish the job. For any further assistance please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
