  • Q:

Will this Weiand Stealth part 8020 work with the Edelbrock 1406 or 1806 carbs? and will this setup enable my vehicle's hood close properly? I have a 68 Mustang with a 289 engine.
Asked on 7/7/2014 by Rick from Corpus Christi, Texas

    1 answer

I'm glad to assist, Rick! The Edelbrock Part No. 1406 is designed to work with stock to their Performer series intake manifolds. The Edelbrock Part No. 1806 may work with this Weiand Part No. 8020 intake manifold.

For your last question I turned to other Mustang owners and found that this will most likely fit under the hood with room to spare. If you would like to review what the other owners found you can view it here: Advance Auto Parts is not responsible for the content of this page.

  • Q:

Does this intake fit at the stock height on a 70 Mustang to allow for the original breather set up?
Asked on 6/24/2012 by mike from Delaware, Ohio

    1 answer

No, this Weiand Manifold(Part No. 8020) does not fit your 1970 Ford Mustang. In order to locate the exact manifold, please provide the engine size of your 1970 Ford Mustang.
