Hi Lockman, Sorry, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it, nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle and get it thoroughly checked by a certified mechanic before buying any parts that may/may not solve the problem.

  • Q:

Front calipers lock after short drive and brake application. When I start the vehicle in the morning brakes appear to work normally with normal brake pedal. After brief drive and minimal usage the front brakes calipers seize, brake pedal at the very top and unable to depress. After setting for several hours breaks appear to be normal and front breaks are no longer locked. Is this a condition caused by failed power brake booster?

  • Q:

How do I know if its a bad power brake booster or master cylinder?

      A:

A power booster helps assist pushing the master cylinder piston when you apply the brakes. A bad power booster will give a very hard pedal, it will feel like you need two feet to stop the car.
