    I'm gathering that this assembly doesn't come with the hardware kit for installing the pads? I'd have to use the previous ones or buy a new kit?

      This Fenco Disc Brake Caliper, Rear Right - Part No. SLC9936 does not includes mounting hardware and pads. If the old mounting bracket is broke, worn out, or if the sliding pins are stuck, then you will only need a new mounting bracket.       You will only need a new mounting bracket if the old mounting bracket is broke, worn out, or if the sliding pins are stuck.
