                      The things that are required to replace the brake pads are Blocks, Car jack, Lug nut wrench, Turkey baster, Heavy duty plastic container, Allen head, star head or 6-point socket wrench, New brake pads, Thread locking compound and Brake fluid.

                    The brake piston will not retract with a C clamp. There must be a check valve in the system. Have tried the bleeder valve on the calipar housing without results. How can I retract the piston?

                      You have to screw it in to the caliper. I made the same mistake my first time, until I saw the big slot on the piston. VW makes a special tool for it but a large blade screwdriver worked for me. Hope this helps.
