Comments about Wearever Silver Organic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

I agree with this review 100%. Not worth a twenty for pads that aren't really lifetime, same cheap pads found elsewhere online for a fiver.

"These are okay pads. Or rather, were - they used to at least be semi-metallic, now they are just organics. You can buy more or less identical cheapy pads for around six clams a set elsewhere online; the only reason to buy these is for the lifetime warranty*.

*But wait, these aren't really lifetime warranted! The warranty is "limited". In speaking with a manager after having difficulty getting replacement pads under a warranty which used to cover anything, I was informed that it is the managers discretion to replace them, and that it comes out of their bottom line/bonuses if they do, so they would much rather sell you a more expensive pad. So I was refused replacement pads, because I had already warranted them once already...

Moral of the story is, if you want cheap pads to just burn thru, buy pads online that are 1/3-1/4 of this price, because the "warranty" is a joke. And the pads are not anything special, friction material is so-so, they require filing and cleap up on the cheap metal stampings to fit properly, may or may not have the holes for the oem pad springs to fit into, may or may not have antisqueal shims, and at this point won't even by semi-metallic.

Not worth it. And none of AA's other pads are any better, so keep shopping.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend"

Comments about Wearever Silver Organic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

I can't rate this product on wear because I've only had the brakes on the car for two weeks. The reason I have this product a horrible rating is for two reasons:
        1) no holes for relief springs...what the??????

        2) so cheap you could even put a small packet of grease....what the?????

I would say I need to this product again in the future but if there I hate most about company's is the feeling when you open a product box and feel like they cut so many corners just to get my hard earned money---that's wrong!!!
