04 Chevy 1500 Silverado, 4.8, 2wd, Longbed
They were a quick and easy replacement! They also included the hold down clips (save $8)! Fit perfecly and easy to install
Re-use the factory bolts to secure the new hold down clips.
Make sure to adjust the parking brake with the adjuster before you put the rotor on. The adujuster is part of the thing that looks like a wheel cylinder. Assuming you are using a new rotor or turned the drum portion of your old rotor, you can just adjust it until the rotor will not slip over it any more, then back it off a little and slide the rotor on.
Tools and process I used:
1. Raise truck and secure it
-jack and jack stand or a lift
2. Remove rear wheels
-flathead screw driver to remove center caps then a 22mm socket and a impact wrench to remove wheel
3.Remove caliper, set on the spring, do not let hang!
-2 13mm bolts
4. Remover caliper bracket
-two 18mm bolts - may need a breaker bar to get them loose
5. Remove factory rotor retaing clips. These are on the 2 of the 6 wheel studs. I used a flat screw driver to get behind it and bend it up, then I cut it with a dikes
- flat head screwdriver and a pair of Dikes
6. Remover rotor
-your hands or dead blow hammer
7. Clean whole assembly and Remove p. brake hold down clip.
- Brake Cleaner and a 8mm Short Socket
8. Remove old shoes, slide them over the hub by getting one of the open ends over the hub (slight force needed)and then 'roll' the rest off. Youtube has a video if you need.
Install in the reverse order.
Make sure to lubricate the caliper pins/slides with grease!

nowhere is it listed on website that this is
re-manufactured. It looks like they took an old rusty parking brake, gave it quick clean and a coat of paint and new material. can still see thru the paint where it says "do not reline". original brakes had 2 holddown clips per side. this only had 2 clips.don't know if that is all it comes with or if missing. will be going back for the other set of clips, if not they will be returned. i don't know how well these will work, but, i'm not too worried since its the parking brake and not used too enough .

Comments about Wearever Parking Brake Shoe:

Trying to install on passenger side. The clip does not hold shoe and it keeps falling down or moving out towards front. Tried on drivers side same problem. Even when you get it position end right rotor will not go over them. I think it is wrong shoes.

Comments about Wearever Parking Brake Shoe:

My '04 Buick Rainier still had the OE shoes and these were to replace those. In comparison, the quality appeared better than the originals. Easy to install, good fit. Prior reviews stated issues with quality and fitment. I had none of these. doing shoes only is simple; using rebuild kit is more involved; don't attempt if you have no prior knowledge of this.

Comments about Wearever Parking Brake Shoe:

I bought these shoes as a replacement when changing my rear rotors and pads just in case. I ended up using them because everything was all apart. They were a direct fit and I had no issues getting them on my '01 Silverado 1500. The only issue I had is the adjustment of how tight they need to be to the rotor, but that's my issue not the shoes. I would definitely buy these again.

Comments about Wearever Parking Brake Shoe:

I tried to install these on my 2000 Silverado. They don't fit!!! I have the adjuster all the way in an there's no way the rotors are sliding over these shoes. Not to mention these are worn rotors so there should be no issue. Measured each brake shoe and they're 0.04" different in size. Returning these today. First piece of junk I've bought from Advance.

Even though the listing says it is only for one side and two are required, the listing is incorrect. There are two shoes in the box and that is all that is required for both sides. I bought two and ended up with four shoes and had to return a box because I believed the listing.
