This was an easy fix. And I like easy fixes. The hard part was moving wires and hoses out of the way. But that allways is a pain. After bleeding the brakes the brakes were working great again. Advance has allways had just what I needed at a good price.

Had to return, was a bad rebuild. Went to another brand store and bought a NEW one, instead of a rebuild. Buy NEW. Why chance it not working right and have to do all the work over again. I have have several different rebuild parts from Advance be bad. Buy NEW or shop elsewhere.

Check the prices online found this product at Advance Auto is the cheapest price found exactly what I needed it was easy to install it went in just like the other one no hassles whatsoever works perfect awesome products I would buy again and I would recommend it to all my friends and family I'm not a mechanic but made it very very easy to put on

    difficult to bench bleed since the bleeder hoses included were too short and barely reached the reservoir. Otherwise a good product.

                There really isnt a procedure to tell if they are good or bad that I know of. The two ways that you can usually tell if they are bad are leaking from the master cylinder or when you are pushing the brake pedal down, the pedal sinks all the way to the floor. The are two indicators that the master cylinder is bad.

                Aside from the previous answer, check to see if there is leakage on the rear of the master cyclinder where it mounts to the brake booster. If the rear seal is leaking, there will be seepage.

                I do not have the exact weight, but if this is for an average size car, truck, or minivan, it should only weigh a few pounds. Maybe 5 pounds at the most.
