Most brake cleaner is pretty much the same. The newest thing, which this has, is low VOC. That just means it will not smell as bad and/or make you sick if you have to use a good amount of it.
Great for cleaning brakes but also engine parts when you take them apart. Just be careful as most brake cleaner is flammable.

Cleanliness is essential to doing a proper brake job. The spray cleaned the rust preventative off the new rotors quickly and easily without leaving any film or contaminants. It is the house brand, so you can only get it at Advance Auto. Other than that, it is a good product for which it is designed. You can get a couple uses out of each can. It is a small, but necessary part of doing a brake job, so do not forget to buy it when replacing your brakes. Make sure that the last thing you do before you put the wheel back on is to give it one last spray to get any stray contaminants off.
