Comments about Wearever Hydraulic Power Brake Booster without Master Cylinder - Remanufactured:

I was afraid to tackle replacing my power brake booster on my '98 Chevy Silverado K2500, but the instructions were incredibly clear and concise. I didn't have to guess about any of the steps involved including the proper, and EASY way to fill the power brake booster lines. The most difficult part of the task was getting at the brake switch/linkage retaining clip, but after that, the old booster was easy to remove and the new booster went in nicely (except for my dropping one of the master cylinder locking nuts down into the black hole of the engine compartment, which cost me an extra trip to the auto parts store).

With reference to your inquiry on this Cardone Remanufactured Power Brake Booster - part# 52-7358, the brake booster may be the possible cause of the problem on your vehicle. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem. For any further assistance, you may also visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.

For help with your project, I recommend getting a repair manual specifically for your vehicle. It should be able to help you with detailed instructions on how to do many things.
